Have one of my favourites - I know I've talked about it before, but c'mon, I was going to have to recommend it sooner or later anyway - Diverse Energies, a science fiction anthology of short stories, edited by Tobias S. Buckell and Joe Monti, with a dystopian theme running through all of the stories. It's incredibly wonderful. The excerpt below is from one of my personal favourites, A Pocket Full of Dharma by Paolo Bacigalupi.
They watched him climb by with grave eyes, but they made no move to stop him. Who were they to care if his fingers slipped and he fell to the infinitely distant pavement? He passed them and continued his descent.
When he looked up again, seeking the isolated window from which he had issued, it was gone. Lost in the thickness of the chill mist. He guessed the man and woman would not follow. That they would have more pressing concerns that to find a lone beggar boy with a useless datacube somewhere in the drizzling streets of Chengdu. He smiled to himself. They would pack and go home to their foreign country and leave him to remain in Chengdu. Beggars always remained.

I'm cheating here and recommending an entire collection - All Good Slides Are Slippery is a poetry portfolio of poems by various poets, collected by Lemony Snicket (or Daniel Handler) for children to read. I don't know if it's as diverse as I'm trying to make all of my recommendations be, but it's lovely, and you can find all the - really beautiful - poems at the link, at the Poetry Foundation. The following is the first poem in the collection; called Knocks on the door by Maram al-Massri, translated from the Arabic into English by Khaled Mattawa.
